In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to quickly set up, activate, subscribe to track within minutes and start using your GPS tracker ZT-28S / ZT-28E for maximum efficiency and peace of mind.

When you receive your UBITracer device, you should find:

🔋 Please charge the device fully (2–3 hours) before first use.

Step #1 - Download the UBITracer App

Before you know how to activate ZT-28S/ZT-28E GPS tracker, you need to download the UBITracer app from the App Store or Google Play, install it, and create your account.

Step #2 - Power On the Device

Note 1 – Activation Tips (Before note 3):

Ensure your tracker has an active subscription, cell signal, and enough battery.
If the orange activation tag has already been pulled, skip to note 3.

Note 2 – Pull Activation Tag:

Pull the orange tag on the back of the device vertically. The LED will flash with short pauses, indicating it's connecting.

If LED turns off (or blue while charging): Activation succeeded. You’re ready to track.
If LED flashes slowly with long pauses: Activation failed. Wait 30 minutes, then proceed to Step 3.

Note 3 – Retry Activation via Pogopin:

Touch a metal object to both pins on top of the device for 5 seconds. When removed, the LED will flash again. Repeat every 30 minutes until successful.

Step #3 – Add Device & Activate Subscription

In the app, tap “Add Device,” scan the QR code on your tracker or instruction paper, name your device (e.g., "Dad's Car"), and complete the pairing process to bind it to your UBITracer account.

Then go to “Device Settings” → “Subscription,” choose a plan (Monthly / 3 Months / 6 Months / Yearly / 2 Years), enter payment details, and confirm to enable real-time tracking and alerts.

Step #4 - Configure Device Settings

Tailor your tracker in the app’s Device Settings by setting up multiple alerts, customizing report intervals, and choosing App Push or Email for notifications.

Step #5 - Install the UBITracer GPS Tracker

GPS ZT-28S / ZT-28E are compact and ideal for discreet installation—place them under the driver seat, inside the glove box, behind the dashboard, or in storage compartments.
